Nevada State Capital Building: Open Skies

Posted by Boomer | Old Nevada | Saturday 23 May 2009 7:49 am

This is the fifth in the series of blog posts that present the the Nevada State Capital Building in all of its yesteryear glory. In the previous posts, you got a sense of of what the Capital Building looked like just before its deconstruction. Today, we open the interior to the skies. Again, no narrative because the pictures pretty much speak for themselves.

First post: Yo Old Capital Building.
Second post: The Three Branches.
Third post: The Interior (before).
Fourth post: Sledgehammers.

Please remember to credit the Nevada State Library and Archives if you use these pictures and, as always, the facts in this series are derived from my weak memory so I welcome any and all corrections and recollections of those days gone by. Coming up soon: more destruction and the rebuilding process.
