Nevada State Capital: The Interiors
Here is the third in the series of blog posts that present the the Nevada State Capital Building in all of its yesteryear glory. Prior to it’s near-complete and planned-out destruction in the 1970s, numerous pictures of the building’s interior and exterior layouts were taken no doubt in hopes the “new” State Capital would look like the “old” State Capital. Second post: The Three Branches.
Please remember to credit the Nevada State Library and Archives if you use these pictures and, as always, the facts in this series are derived from my weak memory so I welcome any and all corrections and recollections of those days gone by. Coming up soon: we start to bring down the house.

The interior of the building is beautiful and I think they did a good job putting things back together after the retrofit.
