Have a great week.

I know somebody who spends her annual leave touring the country because she wants to visit every state, and why not? We’ve got plenty of purty sights in this here Union and I’ve seen a bit of it myself. My latest trip got me wondering: how many state capitals have I been to? (My relations will say I’m having these stray thoughts because I’m bored out of my skull since I don’t have second job and they’d be right, but let’s move on.)

I’m pretty sure this list is incomplete. My family took a tour of the East Coast when I was very young and I distinctly remember seeing the Capitol Building in D.C., so I probably saw a few more sights than detailed here. Also, my dad was stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia, which is a rock’s throw from Richmond but since I don’t remember for sure, the possibilities are off the list. Oh well.

There’s eleven cities on the confirmed list (after the jump) so I got some traveling to do. I might save Madison for last, though.

Finished uploading a bunch of Flickr pictures taken on my Columbia (SC) trip. Nothing spectacular, though you’ll probably figure out that I like clouds (says the USAF vet).
