“C” Stands For Silly

Got up this morning with the energy and passion to ride to Dayton, but my chain problems continue.  The darn thing gets stuck between the front gears so the bike must stay on the highest setting or I have stop and pull the chain out.  Not fun.  Dollar’s going back to the shop tomorrow (they were closed today).

What to do with all this pep and energy?  C Hill!

PCOTW - Bonus

Forgot to post a card on May 21st.

In its place is one that made an impact on me.

It may be real or it may made up.  We’ll never know.

The ten minutes he lost probably wouldn’t have made a difference.

In the meantime, hug the little ones a little tighter, would you?

May 27

Just stuck that date up there to remind me that it’s closer to summer than winter, at least per the calendar. Instead, we woke up with a coat of snow on the ground and there’s a good storm falling in the mountains to the west. We’ll get back to a “normal” Nevada springtime about mid-week when we’re all back at work.

(The Bride reminded me it snowed in Carson City on our wedding day, June 5.)

(Holy Cats! Our anniversary’s coming up.)

It’s the weekend of the Kit Carson Wild West Tour and Liz is out giving tours. That’s her on the far left in black doing her speel. She was worried that she might overheat like she did last year, but the temps are down and the sleet keeps falling. She’s probably the warmest person in the picture.

Received a very pleasant surprise on the weight scale this morning, but ain’t gonna say anything more until things settle down a little.
